News Things To Do | by | 10th Nov 2016

Here at FamilyPoint we sometimes get sent items to review. Recently we were sent a book from the Lonely Planet Kids series, part of a series specifically for children and young people. So we asked a young friend to tell us what he thought of the book.

The Lonely Planet Kids series aims to get children interested in travel and the world around them with fun and quirky facts and stories. There are a number of books in the series that can be found here.

What’s the book about Scott?

The book is about cities and places that you can visit. It gives you interesting facts about all of the cities around the world.

What did you think of the book?

I give this book 5/5 stars. I think the book is useful, colourful and not boring at all! My favourite part is learning facts that you didn’t know before. My favourite city is Tokyo, Japan, because there are lots of dazzling lights and lots of places to visit. I hope to visit in the future. There is no part of the book that I did not like.

What is your favourite fact in the book?

My most favourite fact is that Tokyo residents go to cat cafes and pay to play with one of the cafe’s furry friends, because it’s not possible for them to keep pets in their apartments.

Would you recommend this book to your friends?

Yes, I would definitely recommend this book to my friends!
