About Cardiff Flying Start

Being a parent is very rewarding, but sometimes also a challenge. All mums and dads need information, advice or support at times and the Flying Start team are there to help.  Flying Start is a Welsh Government funded programme for children under 4 and their families in certain areas of Cardiff. 

Flying Start provides a range of services to help children get the best start in life, including:

– Quality part-time childcare for 2-3 year olds
– An enhanced health visiting service
– Access to parenting support
– Support for a child’s speech, language and communication.

Who is this for?

Must have a child aged 0 – 3 years 11 months and live within a certain postcode in Cardiff – search for your postcode here

If you’re not eligible for Flying Start, there may be other services available to you.  Please contact Cardiff FIS to find out more.
