About Cardiff Housing Options

There are many reasons why you may become homeless, including difficulty in paying your mortgage or rent, a breakdown in your relationship with parents or partner, harassment or intimidation, a dispute with your landlord or the condition of your property is making you ill.
Whether you are a home owner, private tenant, council or housing association tenant you can contact the Housing Options Service.

 

Who is this for?

They can help you with housing related support if you

  • Are fleeing domestic abuse (female and male)
  • Have a learning disability
  • Have physical disabilities
  • Have mental ill-health
  • Have an alcohol or drug dependence
  • Are a refugee with support needs
  • Are a young person
  • Are an ex-offenders or are at risk of offending
  • Are homeless or potentially homeless
  • Have a chronic illness
  • Are a vulnerable parent
  • Are an older person
  • Are a Gypsy traveller
