Stuck thinking what to do with the kids over the Easter Holidays? We’ve put the work into searching for cheap family activities so that you don’t have to. Here are some of the events we found over the next two weeks that are suitable for all ages.
Cardiff Museum is hosting Easter Activity Days on 12th and 19th April. 10am-3pm. £1 per child. All you need to do is turn up for some crafty family Easter fun.
Cardiff Castle has an Easter Trail Event happening throughout the Easter Holidays. £1 per child. Between the 8th and 23rd of April the children can find the answers to the puzzles by exploring the castle grounds and win an Easter treat at the end. Admission is free to the castle if you are a resident or work in Cardiff, all you need to do is apply for a castle key and then pay £1 per child for the Easter Trail.

The National Waterfront Museum in Swansea is having an Eggcellent Easter Trail throughout Easter holidays, all for free. Take part in a fun egg hunt, and enjoy all the museum has to offer.
Winding House in New Tredegar will be hosting Easter Crafts on 14th April, 11am to 2pm, at a cost of £2.50 per child. Booking is essential if you want to get stuck into some Easter family crafts, all children must be accompanied by an adult. 01443 822666.
Siop Cynfelyn, Cletwr will be hosting Easter Crafts for ages 3 to 16 on 13th April, 3pm-5pm. Come and make a pom-pom bunny, flower mandala or an Easter Head Wear. There is a suggested donation of £2 to £5 for this activity. Booking advised email@example.com or 01970 832113
Talyllyn Railway in Tywyn are holding Easter activities and competitions throughout the Easter holidays and on Sunday, 16th April there will be a special opportunity to meet the Easter bunny. Decorate your own Easter bonnet and Easter egg and colour Easter pictures. They can all then be entered into a competition to win prizes and on the Sunday the Easter bunny will be handing out Easter treats to all the children who come to visit. There will be a £1 fee for some of the activities.
Bodafon Farm Park in Llandudno is hosting free arts and crafts sessions and an Easter egg hunt on Sunday, 16th April, from 11am.
Loggerheads Country Park in Mold is hosting an Easter trail hunt throughout the Easter Holidays for £2.50 per child. Pop over to Loggerheads any day throughout the holidays and pick up your trail from the shop. One completed pick up your Easter surprise at the end!
