About Conwy Flying Start

Conwy Flying Start is part of the Welsh Government’s early years programme to provide opportunities for children and their families living in certain areas across Wales.

Core services are:

  • Free quality, part-time childcare for 2-3 year olds
  • Enhanced Health Visiting service
  • Parenting Support
  • Early Language Development

Who is this for?

Families with children under 4 years old, living in the Conwy Flying Start catchment areas, which include postcoded areas within Colwyn Bay, Mochdre, Llanddulas, Llandudno, Pensarn and Abergele.

If you’re not eligible for Flying Start, there may be other services available to you.  Please contact Conwy FIS to find out more.
