The Family Information Service

The Family Information Service (FIS) is the first point of contact for local information and advice for parents and families.

They provide information and support about services including childcare (and costs), health, things to do, additional needs, education, parenting and more.

They can link you with groups in your area and expert advice and support services where needed.

Families First

The Families First programme helps families, particularly those with low incomes, who need extra support.

Bringing together organisations based on your circumstances they can help you to live in a safe and healthy home.

They can help your family into work, through difficult circumstances, or if you are living in or at risk of poverty.

There is a Families First delivery team in every local authority.
