About Pembrokeshire Flying Start

Flying Start is a programme to help families with children under 4 years of age in certain areas of Pembrokeshire.  The aim is to support parents with children under 4 to help them give their child the best possible start in life.

Flying Start supports children and families by offering:

  • Childcare for up to 2.5 hrs a day at a registered Flying Start playgroup
  • An enhanced Health Visiting service
  • Parenting skills
  • Early language development

 

Who is this for?

Flying start is available at selected locations across Pembrokeshire depending on your postcode.

Please call 01437 770004 to check if your family is entitled to the scheme.

If you’re not eligible for Flying Start, there may be other services that are available to you. Please contact Pembrokeshire FIS to find out.
