About Swansea Flying Start

Flying Start help families with children under 4 years of age in certain areas of Swansea.  The aim is to support parents with children under 4 to help them give their child the best possible start in life.

The core services provided are:

  • Part-funded half day childcare for 2-3 year olds
  • Intensive health visiting
  • Parenting support
  • Language & play / number & play support for parents & children

The Supporting People Programme can provide housing related support if for whatever reason you are at risk of becoming homeless. It can provide skills and support to help you live independently.
